1.  Q: If I ask Jesus to come into my heart and save me from my sins, isn't this "calling on the name of the Lord"?

2.  Q: Wasn't  Saul saved on the road to Damascus when the bright light from Heaven shined down on him and Jesus spoke to him?

3.  Q:  In Acts 16:31, when the Philippian Jailor asked, "What must I do to be saved?", Paul responded: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...".  Doesn't this verse alone show that "believing on the Lord Jesus Christ" all I need to do to be saved?

4.  Q:  In vs. 14 of 1 Corinthians 1, Paul thanked God that he baptized none of the Corinthians, except for a few.  Then in vs. 17, he wrote, "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel:" Doesn't this show that Paul understood that "baptism" was not a requirement for salvation, and further, that baptism should not become a divisive issue among the brethren?

5.  Q:  What is baptism?

6.  Q:  Please provide biblical evidence of how baptism brings one in contact with Jesus' blood.

7.  Q:  Ephesians 2:8-9 states: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." If we say that we must be baptized in order to be saved, aren't we also saying that we can do something to merit our own salvation?

8.  Q:  If baptism is necessary for salvation, why did the "thief on the cross" not need to be baptized?

9.  Q. Paul did not actually have his sins washed away, as you have contended in Acts 22:16; his sins were merely covered. The reason for this is because he was "elect" from before his birth (Jeremiah 1:4-5; Romans 8:28-30).

10.  Q. What does "for" mean? In Question #3, under "A Matter Of Faith", you stated that The believers, on that day of Pentecost, showed their faith (or belief) in the gospel message, from Peter, by being baptized for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:38). Why do you assume that "for" means "to meet some sort of requirement" to obtain remission of sins? Have you ever considered that "for" could mean "because of" remission of sins?

11.  Q.  Do you think that a person who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, while on their way to the baptistry, who is killed in an automobile accident, would not be saved?

12.  NEW! Q.  If baptism is necessary to be saved, why didn't the Lord, in Mark 16:16, say he that believeth not "and is baptized not" shall be damned"?  Doesn't this show that believing is truly all that is necessary to be saved and that baptism is not required?

13.  Q.  What is the Gospel?
